Nod Test
Music is cheap to make.
Attention isn’t.
Nod Test starts with a ridiculous amount of music and keeps almost none of it.
Genre doesn’t matter.
- Hip-hop can pass.
- Soul can pass.
- Electronic can pass.
- Indie can pass.
- Rock can pass.
There is one question
Did it move you?
If yes, it passed.
Nod Test is an instrumental music project focused on groove, melody, texture, bass and musical ideas, across genres. Tracks that survive are released one at a time, usually on a Friday, and the best collect into the PASSED series.
The producer notes explain what made each one work, and what didn’t.
